Aching hands

I think I may have spent too much time typing yesterday, as my hands are aching this morning. When I got out of bed, they didn't want to move hardly at all, but once I got in the shower, they felt better. They're still rather sore and tender right now, though.
I suspect the problem was that I worked all day, typing for the better portion of the day, and then had to work on my laptop last night, typing a lot of numbers, and I don't have a numeric keypad on the laptop.
Anyone have any good remedies to help my hands? Sadly, not typing isn't an option. I've got a full day of work ahead of me, and more numbers to type when I get home tonight.

Hi, it seems that you know what's causing the problem with your hands so really the best thing to do would be to give them a rest. As you're not able to do that all I would say is take some mild pain relief, but by not resting your hands they could be even worse the next day. Could you take a break, say, every 20 mins or so?
It might help.
