YesterDay Once More ( Recall ur college days)

I will admit that I graduated in 2004, so I'm assuming I am not the target group for this discussion, but I barely remember my freshman year as it is, so I'll answer anyway. The first test that I really remember(I'm assuming I've blocked out the ones I didn't do well on, because there were clearly some before this) was a geology exam. I absolutely love geology and was actually excited for this exam. I raced through it and finished at least 20 minutes ahead of everyone else. I seriously considered sitting there waiting for someone else to go up before me, but then again I didn't want to sit there for who knows how long waiting for someone else to first finish, then get the courage to go up in front of 500 students to turn their paper on. So I sucked it up and went up and handed my paper in. The professor was so surprised that I was finished that he made me stay to grade my paper in front of me. I'm assuming this was an example to show that other people shouldn't do this, but it backfired in a big way. He graded the test and I got 120/100(he had built in a ton of extra credit because the thing was difficult). After that, he hounded me to become his TA for the following year. I never did. I love geology, but I'm not exactly the type of person to go digging around in 3rd world countries for rocks. Coincidentally, I majored in Fashion Merchandising(I know it's the opposite end of the scale, but I love it too), and graduated in 2004. I'm now an assistant buyer for a major department store. Every once in a while, I still get that feeling like I might want to go back into geology. I just look at my geode that I found in Italy on a trip with my parents, and think that I like fashion more. :)
