I wouldn't tell... n fact it's not good to tell because this would protect the intergrity of both of you...

i would tell someone. because the jackass will either do it again or to someone else. if it grief let it. but they should have never did it. i would tell. and if it happen to you i am sorry to hear it. stand your ground most likey they will say and try to get you back down.

Well in all honesty its not as simple as just speaking up...i was sexually assaulted for yrs by my adoptive father and didnt say anything until I was 13 yrs old..and when I DID speak up, it was NOT received well by my adoptive mother (and still isnt and I'm almost 40)... Now when it comes to rape by a family member CHANCES ARE the victim is threatened AND most likely terrified of how the family would respond to the accusation... Do I think they should tell SOMEONE? YES! ABSOLUTELY...because living with that horrible dirty little secret will DESTROY A PERSON...BUT that doesnt necessarily mean I think they should tell a family member first..but definately they need to tell someone

Tell people, tell EVERYONE. A person that violates the very body of another person must be brought to justice. Embarrassment? Strife within the family? So what? Who puts family harmony above the safety of family members?? And if I were raped..? I don't think there'd be a force on Earth that could shut me up.

Raped by a family member is atrocious and unexplainable beyond any known situation. If it happens then it is the right of the family member to know about that incident. No people shouldnt be afraid or feel it as guilt.

I believe that if a family member is raped they should tell other people in the family. The family should know about it so that they do not bring their children around this person, or so that they can remove children from the care of this pervert. I also believe that if the family does nothing about it, that they are not much of a family. You should tell someone you trust about it, and alow an outside source handle it then.

thats a ridiculous ...raped by family member .... rape is curse of society and very painful for the person who suffers it .... in my opinion it should be come to knowledge of other family member if somebody in family do with you ... he/she must be punished ... it cant be let it free just he is a family member ... the same will be the major cause which should be result in hard punishment as you not even raped somebody by physically but he raped the trust of family members ...

Hi, Don't take it in other sense,some time it happens in mutual consent than nothing to worry but it happens rarely. My point of arguement is if UR a job holder than better to stay separate,without concealing the same to family member it may create a very embrassing situation in family.If UR a student better to opt for hostel acomodation.
