Hi twallace, I'm not sure we actually have too many Girl Guides or Girl Scouts (?) here in Australia - at least, I've not seen them door knocking with boxes of cookies where I live. I must say, though, that I do recall Chef's dad on South Park relating how that damn Loch Ness Monster disguised as a Girl Guide tried to sell him a box of cookies for about $3.50. So how much DO they sell boxes of Girl Guides cookies for? $3.50 sonds like a fair price to me (provided they're nice cookies).

I thought that they had Girl Scouts all over the world and that everyone purchased their cookies. I see that is not so they are not everywhere

In Germany I only knew about girl scout cookies from the movies. I didn't get to eat them until I moved to the US, lol.

We used to buy them, but the quality and quantity has gone down while the price has gone up. We passed on it this year. Although it's a good cause, but I'm fed up with the girl scouts here in town, they don't deserve it. Here in town girl scouts only seems to be for the rich and those who they 'accept' into their circles. They won't take my girls, even if I would volunteer. I must have ticked off the head hancho of the girl scouts in this area, even though I don't know who it is, lol. If they don't want us, then I don't want their cookies either. No matter how much they shove them in my face when they come to my door or when I go to Walmart.
