Ok, so I've almost got my office all organized. I'm about ready to bring the computers in and get it all set up. Right now I have my laptop running off of a wireless router wich is connected to my modem. I would like to put one of the pc's online as well. Is it possible? Can I network my pc and my wireless router through the same modem?? Thanks for your assistance!!

I think it is possible if you have the modem which supports the ethernet connection. just plug it to the RJ45 cable or LAN Chord to the modem and the PC that you want. I dont what kind of modem or router you are using but it is perfectly possible to connect your pc with the same modem. For more info read the user manual of your modem.

Of course you can. There are 2 options available for you. You can either connect the computer to the router via a RJ45 cable, or you can install a wireless PCI card and use the wireless access. If you have several computers then there is no reason why you should not connect them all, although the number of wired connections would be limited by the number of ports on the router. If you set up a home network then you can access the files on one computer from another as well.

Hello There. Sure, if you already have a highspeed connection and a wireless router then you can add computers there. Others can be wired to your router's ethernet LAN port and the rest can be wirelessly connected to your router's signal.

What brand of router do you have? My wireless router has 4 ports for ethernet so the way I've had it set up is that I've had two computers connected vi rj45 ethernet and the rest connected wirelessly. So, the modem --- wireless router --
