I don't think so,you know, firefox is very good at it's speed and security,you can use the add-ons easily ,however,not all of website support the firefox.If you use the firefox only you may get into trouble.
I am not quite sure what you mean when you say that "Firefox is eating the internet". If you mean it is getting more and more popular, yes it is. Slowly it is gaining more use as it has many features that browsers like Internet Explorer do not have.
