Lot of excitement

There's been a lot of excitement around here tonight. My husband took our dog outside and came running back in and said something was going on across the street (at mom's vacant house). He hopped in the Jimmy and went down the road and blocked a car that was pulling out. I went outside on the porch and could hear a lot of yelling (mostly from my hubby) so I called 911. Several policemen came out. I must have sounded hysterical on the phone. I knew my hubby had a gun but didn't know if the other people had one or not. Turns out it was a couple of kids making out. The girl was 14 and the boy was 16. One of the police said he knew the girl and she was okay. Then they left. We had a lawnmower stolen recently so we thought maybe it was someone trying to steal something. The boy and girl left together. I thought that was a little strange. I thought the police would have taken her home since she was 14 y/o. Anything like this ever happen to you?

I don't have much going on in my community. It is very quiet. We have older people around, some kids are coming to visit or stay with grandparents, but not much is going on.

Normally its quiet around here except for birds, deer, dogs, or other wild animals. We live right in a wooded area.

That does sound a bit strange and yes the girl does seem quite young so I am surprised the police didn't take her home like you said. Maybe it is because the policeman knew the girl and boy and therefore trusted that there was not anything to worry about?
