Thrift Shop Bargains

last week I fanaly found the magazine holders I needed for ages.I've bought the really cheep ones before, but when you pick then up the bottons falls out !And good heavy ones are so dear beccause I probalby need about 20.Last week I found our local charity back dozens of packs of brand new ones, and there realy decoraive and cheap.Whats the best or most unusual thing you've ever found at a thrift shop or yard sale ?

i would have to be the op shop queen around here.i have found so many bargains from op shops and garage sales,too many to mention.i have collected a lot of fine china from garage sales,tupperware,brand name clothes for the children,textbooks,the list goes on.the most unusual thing i found was a 3 D jigsaw puzzle,which i have never seen anything like it before.cheers sue

Hi there missbdoll!
Well, I haven't been to lot of yard sales but I've been to thrift stores that are selling used clothes, bags and shoes which we call here in the Philippines as "ukay-ukay". I don't really have something special that i got from that but just clothes. Maybe the most special will be a gothic black long dress that I wore for halloween last year.
