Are people stereotype because of where their come from

During a converstion with two of my friends the question of what do we get stereotype as a certain way,due to come from somewhere like Wales,Liverpool for example. Both me and my friend were called agressive just because we come from Different places consider the comments were made by two people who come from london and are judge their options on the one or two welsh,Scousers their have see. is it right to stereotype someone just because of where their come from.

Hell no, you can't call people on the basis of where they come from. The reason people do this is because of the image of the place. And without thning and knowing they make these sort of assumptions.

Yeah that i what i think,people get the image and just without thinking and knowing all the face just jump to these assumptions.

of course its not right, the stereotypers are just ignorant and dont know any better.
