Do you think that the US is heading to another depression?

I have wondered because things are getting bad here in the states and I was wondering if there could possibly be another depression like in the 1920s.
What are your thoughts on this topic?

not at all, if anything the econimy will go into a recession. but for that to happen then the price of gas and food have to get highenough for pople to stop purchasing anything else but food and gas. and when it does happen the price of oil will have to drop back to reasonable levels.... i say 65$ a barrel would be around that mark....... before the econimy will get kickstarted again..... plus we will be dragging the rest of the world with us
