"8yr old chihuahua, jumbo, new baby on way, will sacrifice, $200" I feel sorry for that new baby. If the future parents are willing to sell the family pet after 8 years, they must be pretty heartless. Now, I know that they may be fearful of the dog being with the baby but if they didn't raise the dog to love people, how sad is that? Would you sell your pet if you were expecting a baby? I was a little nervous when I was expecting my first that Hector, my dog way back then, would be jealous but he loved my children because I loved them and was very good with them.

It sounds a little callous, but there's no way we could know the whole situation. They may have just got this pet and then found out they were pregnant. Maybe the dog isn't one that should be around little ones, and it has nothing to do with what they did or didn't do. There are always circumstances where we may have to do something we might not otherwise do, or say that WE would never do that, but you can never really know.

Hi dragon. I agree with you. When my daughter was born my pets accepted her and loved her. I never had problems with this. But my pets had all love and I think that this is the why they like all people. I never sell my pets for nothing. They are my babies too. cheers
