WHy pizza is always shape circle, why not rectangle or triangle? Anyone know why? Or you never think about it before? I think it really matter, because if there any other shape of pizza it would be attract more people to eat it, although its the same taste. But is there any of you seen any different shape than circle?

hey i agree with you, star shape could be interesting to eat, cuz you can cut it easily. And its good for diet people, cuz the size should be more smaller thatn the regular one. Well i assume that they made pizza with circle and square because they want to get the max profits

I have seen retangular, or square pizza. I have not seen shapes besides these, or round ones. I think that round pizzas are the most common, although square and rectanglular ones do exist.

Well the small personal pan is almost shaped like a square. I do wish that they would come out with another shape for the pizza.

Ok, here is the reason why most pizzas are round: When you roll out the dough, it naturally wants to be round-shaped. To get another shape, you have to put more effort in; pizza places don't like extra work. Someone threw away my round pans, so I've been using rectangular pizza pans to make my pizza. It works fine, but it is harder to get the dough to the right shape.

Haha, thats a really good question that maybe many have not even thought about it. I think maybe pans tend to be of circle shaped thats why and maybe because it has started as a circle shape and everyone is just following it as if as a tradition.

I have seen pizzas in other shapes here in our country. I have seen rectangular pizzas and square ones too. I remember there was even a time when one pizza store here sold heart-shaped pizza for Valentine's day. It's really cool to see pizzas in other shapes aside from the traditional round pizzas!

I think it is because pans tend to be circle shaped maybe. I have seen and eaten a square pizza before, I think it was in Pizza Hut or somewhere.

i guess circle form is much good to look. when you slice it, it's like a wheel and easy to eat. but here in Italy, we got square pizzas.

I have seen square pizzas in a few places around where I live. Though I think a slice of a circular pizza is easier to ear than a square or rectangle.

I have eaten in 2 pizza outlet/resto with square and rectagular-shaped pizzaz aside from their round pizzas. The pizza also come in different ingredients/flavor. I guess the most common shape of pizza here is round or circle. Anyway, i don't care much about the shape, what matters to me is the taste of the pizza itself.

Actually Papa John's has a square pizza. But I don't really think I've ever seen any other shape. But I agree that other shape of pizzas would attract more people. I think it would be seen as fun way of attracting people to buy more pizza. That would certainly draw me to buy more pizzas.

in our country we have square pizza. then that pizza is devided by four and you can pick four different flavor. so one pizza in four flavors. it is really cool for sharing. so if you are craving for different kinds of flavor you can get that in just one pizza
