I can agree with that pretty much. Though I relate more to Morgaine than to Viviane. I do admire Viviane and understand why she does some of the things that she did - as Morgaine comes to understand too.

I know this is an old discussion, but I loved the book and the movie, so, when I saw the link for the quiz, I just had to follow it. Maybe I can revive the discussion for other new mylotters that share our appreciation of The Mists of Avalon. My result is Morgaine (47 other people got this result. That's 25%): You are the ultimate priestess, learned and disciplined by harsh realities. You are wise and compassionate, but have you forgiven yourself? I do believe the result suits me. I looked at the descriptions of the other results and this is by far the closest.

This is one of my favorite books actually so this was fun to do. Not sure if I agree with the results although I think it is one side of me. My results where:

I thought that was interesting. Of course in theory we should all have aspects of each, since we have all forms of the goddess within us.

You're most welcome! I know I'm not on here much (esp lately) and I rarely start up a discussion (cause I don't get a lot of responses) but I knew they'd be those like you and me who love The Mists and would enjoy the quiz. Glad you liked it and passed it along :)

I know what you mean, I'm not on as much as I used to be and I don't start discussions that often. Still ones like this I enjoy especially when it's a book that I really enjoy. I thought this one was a very unique view of looking at the Arthurian legend and made a lot of sense to me.

I used to have a copy of this book I'm sure and it was one I never got to read....I used to work in several bookshops and tended to collect books by the dozen....
The quiz says I am Viviane but not having read the book, I'm not sure what this means. Why take the quiz? Because it's very early in the morning and my senses are still dull. Or else I'm hungry....you pick.
