how do you define a best friend or who is your best friend?

Someone who won't lie to me or for me. Someone who doesn't want me to change for them and someone who won't change for me. Someone who makes me laugh and I make laugh. Someone who will help me move.

trust is essential to true friendship. we all need someone with whom we can share our lives, thoughts, feelings and frustrations. we need to be able to share our deepest secrets with someone, without worrying that those secrets would end up on the internet the next day. faithfulness and loyalty are the keys to true friendship.without them we often feel betrayed, left out and lonely. in true friendship there is no backbiting, no negative thoughts and nbo turning away.....whenever you feel that you share a faithful relationship with someone you can call that person your true friend.....

for me its someone who knew about you..attitude,likes and everything.. the one who's always their when you need them..whatever adn whenever..stick with you forever.

A best friend is someone who when the whole world question you, he/she simply hold your hands and give the answer to the whole world. He/She does not define friendship as being the best but who defines you as being the best...He/She is someone who cares more for you than for himself or herself.

a best fren is one who cares about others by putting them first and doing things for that person jus becaus it makes them happy who can share be accepted understood and give support and strength listens forgives quickly and respects his or her dignity and feelings a fren is one whom you may pour out all the contents of your heart. i use myself as an example your my fren an i dnt know you

How's that old saying go, "Good friend will bail you out of jail... Your best friend will sit next to you in jail & tell you, 'Boy! That was Fun!'"... I know that was intended more as a joke then anything else but if you think about it, it kindda has a point... I do believe there are few things in the world that should be earned, not just given to you... Trust, respect & friendship being 3 of them... Best friend, for me, is someone who doesn't need words... Just by looking at him/her exactly knows what you wanna say... Someone who over a time, you developed a trust & deepest respect for & vise versa... Trusts your thinking & decisions without question, no matter what it sounds or looks like, you have the best intentions for each other... If he/she does you wrong, you can yell at him/her at the top of your lungs without having to worry about him taking it the wrong way & Vise Versa... Trusts you enough to say, "I don't know where you're going with this but what the hell... If this turns out ugly, I know you meant well..." Who would you like to have on your side, someone who bails you out or someone who sits on your side in jail & trying to make you feel better by putting a smile on your face & putting a laughter in your heart...???

i say in my eyes that a good friend or best friend is someone who it there for no matter what,you can call them for help or just for advice,trust them with anything. to quote the film jawbreaker on the term of a friend,a friend is someone who tell the truth no matter what. which i need a good way of summing up what a friend is,because i want my friend to tell me the truth about anything.
