Do you think it's too late to plant a garden?

I'm thinking about trying to get a garden in by the end of May.The reason I haven't as of yet is because I haven't had the funds to do it.But that is changing, and I could do it by the end of May. What do yall think?

A lot will depend on where you are located. If you are starting from seed, it may be a bit late for some things, but not from others. Even if you can't start from seed, you can certainly purchase seedlings at your local garden store or even WalMart and do quite well. I started everything from seed to put in my container garden. I was concerned about tomatoes from seed, but they are doing even better than the cucumbers, and I've got a good number of beans too, and they already have teeny-tiny beans popping out.
