I will need another car in the
near future and am wondering where
the funds will come from!
How's your car running?
I saw this and thought it funny!
"You Know You Need A New Car When....
You have to go to a repair center every thousand miles to
get the duct tape replaced.
You accidentally drive into a junkyard, drive out, and get
accused of stealing.
The Blue Book lists your car under "Health Risks"
You return to your car and find someone broke in and left
a hundred dollars and a new stereo.
You pull over to let a fire truck go by, and it stops
behind you."
hehehehe

OH Dear - my car isn't too far away from any of those! It is about 15 years old now but still goes well - well it did the last time I got to drive it but right now it is parked in my Grans driveway as I cannot drive it and it is a waste of money to pay road on it! xxxx

THose are really funny! I bought a used car a couple of years ago. It is 5 years old now, and is starting to need all of the little things that come with age.
It has 64,000 miles on it and I just put on 4 new tires and a battery. THe starter is beginning to sound a little weird...so that is probably next!
CARS...AHHHH!

Hi raydene! haha..That is really funny! Our car is kinda old but just the other day someone wants to buy it and take it off from our hands. haha.. We were really thinking about selling it since we are not using it more often than we used to. I don't think I would need a car right now my friend. The price of gas is too much for me right now. haha..
Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

LOL I at present have a car in very good condition it has just passed its yearly MoT check but I shared this story in another discussion and the bit about the firetruck made me giggle and reading this it will probably make you laugh too.
I drove into the pertol station to fill up with petrol and noticed the engine was smoking so I drove off of the forecourt and out into the road to get the car away from the pumps, it was now in flames, I grabbed my son from his car seat and myself and my daughter jumped out. It wasn't too long before the car was engulfed. The fire engine arrived and put out but the car was completely burnt out. This could have been horrific had I not got off the petrol forecourt but luckily no one was injured. One of the fireman said he was due to finish his shift did I want a lift home so I could retrieve my insurance doucments and arranged for recovery, he asked me out and because the car was burnt out in the road the traffic was stopped also. So on this day in my forties I managed to make front page news with the headline 'Potential Disaster Averted', stop the traffic LOL and pull the fireman. Oh what a day eh!

LOL thanks for sharing that! I really shouldn't talk since my vehicle is currently parked with a broken cable but...that list could have been referring to some of the vehicles we've had in the past. The fire truck one really made me giggle, my last car had a problem one night and it would go 25mph tops and a fire truck did get behind me on the way back from a call, he just passed me though and didn't stop. Another car would on occassion overload the carburator but instead of flooding out the extra gas would spill out and catch fire. On day it did this right when I started in in the driveway and the fire chief just happened to drive by as flames shot out from under the engine. He stopped while I was standing there waiting for the gas to finish burning so I could restart it and be on my way (this was not the first time it had happened so I really did know what I was doing...not that I would have cared at that point if the whole car had burnt up!) Any so the fire chief stopped, looked at my car, looked at me just standing there, looked at the car again, then looked back at me and said "uh, ma'am, you know your car's on fire?" I said "Yep, I did, it'll be fine in a minute." I think he thought I'd lost it LOL

these are so funny raydene thanks for the laughs as I
needed them. am not feeling so great so some humor
perked me up nicely. I do not have a car so no worries
there. hope you can find fhe money sooner or latter
for a new car.
