The IPL was supposed to be very friendly cricket, but its getting more serious and there's some words and stuff exchanged between the teams on and off the field. Will this ultimately split the Indian team a as a whole. For example will Sreesanth and Harbhajan ever be able to play again together. Will rival captains have some amount of unforgiven enmity? I'm just thinking out loud - what are your thoughts?

just leaving this incident aside, i feel we have found out many excellent youngsters who will soon rock our team and take it to the topmost position. even now we have found some senior players retiring, we will definitely spot out many from this ipl who are going to fit the shoes of the retired players.

i don't think it will because cricket is a professional game not a personal game they have to keep their ego's away from it because they are playing for the country not for themselves.

I dont think so IPL will bring more professional approach in the game which was missing in the indian team so far and surely improve fielding standard in domestic game which was need of the hour. The team has good leader in dhoni who will keep the team united.

Its a thing to watch. the players who play in indian tean are against each other here. it is also providing them lots of money. so it may happen so. but it can also happen otherwise.

I dont think it effects the Indian team in this regard. They come from different parts of the country and play Ranji matches for different teams. When they play for India they do forget all the rivalries what they had if any and play for country. This IPL is no exception to this. Let us hope no worries in this regard. These guys are professionals and know how to handle these. cheers

IPL will have its side effects for sure. But ultimatley the players will get along. IPL has created a new scenario in the world cricket. Likewise in football there are some tension between players of the smae country but finally they will mix up and make india win.
