Cops say boy, 8, took car for ride, caused crash

This boy had a joy ride on a stolen car!
PONTIAC, Mich. - Authorities said an 8-year-old Pontiac boy took a stolen car on a joy ride and caused a three-vehicle crash. Pontiac police said the boy sneaked out of his house Wednesday night and found an empty and running car in his neighborhood.
The Oakland Press and Detroit Free Press reported the boy drove the car in reverse for about a block and hit the front-end of another vehicle. That vehicle was struck by a third car.
There were no injuries, but officers say he was crying when officers arrived.
How in the world an 8-year-old stole a car? What do you think?

I do NOT understand why parent dont keep better attention on their children, for example I know we've all beendriving at one time and wondered to ourselves where is that child's parent they are too close to the street and so on. This is sad. Parents need to quit worrying about themselves and pride themselves in how they raise their children.
