Animal cops... should they be in every city?

I think so. I can't stand the idea that somewhere animals are suffering, whether they be dogs or cats. Anyone else agree?

I think so. But in many cities, I am disappointed in the animal control officers. They often do not do their jobs. But sometimes, it isn't really their fault. Some cities just have too many animals for so few officers to handle.

I think in cases like that, that they should take on volunteers or maybe even hire one or two more people. There are plenty of people out there who want to help these animals, but they don't take their help. Thanks for responding.

Definitely. I am an animal lover. I really don't understand why someone would have one if they weren't. I have 4 dogs and 2 of them were abandoned. Its so sad. They are such sweet dogs and one of them was even house broken.

I don't understand why people don't try and find better homes for pets they don't want. They just dump them off on any street. I want to ask these people if they'd do the same to their kids. To me, my animals are like my kids. Thanks for responding.

i watch that show from time to time,it's amazing to see how much they care and do for animals..i think this should happen in every civilised country, but unfortunately in some countries, such as mine,it's not very much done for humans either, not to speak about animals..straight dogs wondering around the streets and byting people, sometimes even killing people if they walk on the street at night...cats are innocent but they starve on ste streets..it's so much disorganisation here that i don't even know where they should start
