My youngest son and I are having an arguement right now about how much minimum wage is.
I thought it was only $7.15 or something like that, and he thinks it is alot more, like $9 or $10.
I've been self employed for 5 years so I have no idea, and my oldest son who works can't answer us because he just had an operation and is sleeping in the hospital tonight!
It may be different depending on where you live, so my question would be for people in PA.
Thanks!

Mom you are 100 percent right it is 7.15 an hour. just type it into the browzer that is what I did lol.. that way he can see it in black and white. I love kids, they think they know everything even if they are wrong they are right lol

Yep, like the others said it really is $7.15. Probably he thinks it's $9 or $10 because some companies set that as their minimum but's it's not the state minimum. I'm sure you already knew all that, I just wanted to chime in since I live here too.
I hope your oldest son is doing well and has an easy recovery!

I'm in Philadelphia PA and you are right. Min wage here is $7.15 an hour. no way is it 9 or 10. It may have went up a few cents though because from looking through the paper as I am seeking employment I have noticed that a lot of places that pay min wage are paying $7.25. So I would say anything between $7.15 - $7.25 is about right.
