I do check them regularly. I do check the responses of my discussons as well as posts I responded as and when I recieve the mail from mylot. I mostly check the responses than responding other posts. What about you, Do you post and check the responses or what is the order. cheers

i tend to go back and forth. i used to have the email alerts, but my mailbox would get really crowded with responses sometimes and decided to take them off. i found that checking them in between discussions allows me to really have a more "live" discussion.

I always check the responses to my discussion... i receive an email alert if there is a new response to any of my discussions... i like it that way because i comment to almost all of them... (i rarely comment of oneliners)... that way... those who responded will feel that their time and effort in sharing their idea is well appreciated...

I do it daily. As much as I can I respond to responses to my discussions, even responses to responses if needed. I see to it that I'm the last guy to respond. Unfortunately, Lately I am experience responses that didn't reach my mail. I'm surprise to see them only on my summary. I've check my settings and they are all fine.

I do check my posts form time to time and do respond to those who responded to it. Knowing others opinions and sharings really helps to keep you going. I agree with you, it is really interesting to know what people think about our thoughts.

I try to respond back to everyone, even if it is just a simple thank you for their opinion. I usually give it a couple of days per discussion, then go back and respond to everyone all at once and rate them at the same time.

I have the notify button on for all my friends so I get emails when they add a response. Then I add a comment as I read their responses. I have done this since day one here over a year ago and still do it dilligently. I feel they are called "disucussions" therefore we need to add comments to the responses otherwise I look at them as just words for us to read. Sometimes I spend hours here just ading comments to all the responses I get and don't have time to start new discussions.

I can't understand why anyone would start a discussion and not read the responses.
I would not bother to respond to a discussion if I thought the person who started it would not read my response. They have asked a question, or asked for an opinion, advice or information, and I have responded. I am wasting my time if my response is not read!

The members that do this are the ones that are hoping to make that quick dollar is all. I have had friends in my list that did that and I deleted them quickly as I felt I was wasting my time in their "discussions" where they were not participating in it themselves.

I agree. And the people who do this to make a quick buck fail to understand that an active discussion will get more responses and earn more for the person who starts it. A discussion with no comments earns less because it does not stay active for long and gets fewer responses.

I used to check it daily but of lately, I've been getting busy with other stuff - my other hobbies - and foruming has just taken a step back.
I'm trying not to feel guilty about not maintaining my 30 over post per day thing but it's just too tiring to go through every thing daily.
