How Do You Find Concerts?

What do you do to find the concerts you attend? I usually only go to concerts if I heard/saw an advertisement for them. But I have to attend a concert with strings involved for my violin lessons, and have not gotten any advertisements lately (except for one which had seats at $80, which is too much for my budget at this point). Where should I look to find a concert to attend?

Check and see if your local orchestra has summer concerts. Here we have summer music concerts and music festivals.Check the Arts and Leisure section of your local newspaper.

We don't really have a local orchestra (unless you count the high school one, which we aren't allowed to rate, even though they're better than most of the college groups around here). There are concerts in the park in the summer, but I can't wait that long. I need something within 2 weeks. I will check out the paper and see if it mentions anything.

Check and see if there are any orchestras that are playing any Memorial day concerts. Good Luck.

I tend to check ticketmaster.com for concerts. You can check by artist, team ,or venue.
