are you a good listener?

hi
i was just wondering who here @ mylot considers themselces a good listener as i myself do as i will sit & listen to some-one that has a problem & if i can't help with the paticular problem then i will put the person in Question onto some - one that can.
i also beleive that if you listen to what is being said but don't understand then the polite thing to do is to ask the person whom is talking to you.
So i guess what i am asking is weather you indeed are a good listener.

Not really. When someone is talking to me, I get very nervous and keep thinking of thing's like "Maybe they know I'm nervous" and it makes me more nervous....... Problems, eh?

I was a psychotherapist, so I learned to listen well. But with family..not as well. (I am more relaxed at home.)

Yes. My younger siblings and friends often come to me whenever they needed a good listener especially during the times of problems. Even if it is a long or short story I would listen from top to bottom. They entrusted me with their problems and such so I won't definitely fail them.

i think i am a good listener...i tend to listen more than i talk because i think too much and analyze everything...weighing it to make the right decision...

i do perhaps sometimes consider myself a good listener if indeed it's its an interesting topic to be heard about....
i also consider the fact that TOO MUCH TALKING can have more mistakes so better keep quite and wait for the time that my enormous lil simple but concise and meaninful ideas be spoken and heard that can be at least possible lessen the problem ...**

hehe,i am always think that i am a good listener in my deep heart,but when it is happen to me,i ...namely,i am not always if it is really happen.

I'm not sure if i am a good listener but, i make sure that if someone came to ask for help, even if just listening is all they need, i am here always ready to listen.. I'm not good in advising, because, i myself can't do or help myself when i'm in the situation! :)
