Have you ever wondered where your lost items go?

Are they carried off by some lil creatures to a secret hideaway place? Why is it so easy to lose a sock? How many ones do you still hold on to hoping someday to find its mate? lol.
I have cleaned my apt too well that sometimes its the villian who steals or hides my things. I have things of value gone I still can't find, and have turned the house upside down looking for them. Right now i am looking for 2 separate bundles of seeds.
We need someone who finds lost things. Many people claim they can. But i would want someone who claims this first to tell me what i lost then where or what happened to it.

I've been told things from different people about who moves the things we lose. Some people say the spirits of children, others say it's fairies!
I often ask out loud for what is lost to be returned. I say it politely but firmly, as if talking to a naughty child. It usually works.

Well i have heard things like that too, and if it was the case i have a sense of humor, but some of my things lost are expensive and one thing i really need and have tried to start replacing it..and its costly.
i might try what you suggested, lol

LOL I think we would need to employ someone to do that full time in our house - never a day goes by that something cannot be found! I think it is the mischievous fairies trying to brighten their day by watching us hunt for things as they sit back on their lovely comfy bed of odd socks and laugh at us! xxxx

Well, I think when we are looking for something, it knows that and sprouts little legs and runs off to hide. Because when we stop looking for it, it usually shows up! I do hang on to odd socks for a while, then when they start to pile up I get ruthless and throw them out or use them for cleaning rags. Old tube socks are great for dusting between blinds, just stick your whole hand in there and dust away!
