Do u people think that counter strike is the best online game ever made? If yes, why?

Cs simply rocks. and there's no substitution to it.

yeah man.the AK-47 is such a good weapon..that it is awesome in most of the FPS's!!!
i have played all of duty 4..and the ak-47 over thare is the best weapon!!!!!

yes counter strike is the best online game ever because it is simple,clear,and fantastic gameplay with some amazing maps and best part is its short duration.i mean one stage takes no longer than 5 minutes or so.

counter strike is an awesome game...
its was the first game to come up with such high detailing like recoil and weapon stats!!!
the term "headshot" was originated in cs!!
it is the father of all fps's and it still rocks!

counter strike is very good, and is still widely played in competitions around the world. As for the best online game ever...i would have to disagree. How could one or anyone judge such a category without any criteria. Now as for most played around the world or length of popularity in years or number of players or number of tournaments or... you get the picture. without clear criteria, it isn't fair to say any game is the best online game ever made.
if criteria is most players, it might even be World of Warcraft. But then again, that's without checking number of players of MMORPGS or online shooters in other countries.

Yes your are right. there are some of my friends who plays counter strike also likes this world of warcraft.But for me this game looks confusing. i refused to play this game to my friend. he told me this was a good strategy game. thanks for your comments. Have a nice day.

yeah , i forgot about halo. it is also exciting. but many of my friends were playing this counter strike.

Counter strike is played online heavily because of only one reason. It has very low graphics requirement. So there is very less ping, even if you connect computers at "north pole and south pole". Its not at all realistic. CoD is the best shooter game I have played so far, realistic environment, weapons, scopes, frags, smoke grenades, claymore mines, predator, air support and what not. Its the shooter which contains everything you want.
I played Counter Strike, but no more. I bet Counter Strike Global Offensive won't have much players than the original Counter Strike. Only reason - GRAPHICS s**cks!!!
