Are long distance relationship works?

I know a friend who has partner from a far and only got communication through fone. For couple of years that they are committed they never had chance to see each other in person. Does long distance relationship works?

Hi dear i am not sure that they can work long, as far as friendship is concerened, it can work and get strengthen, but as far as love or life time commitments are concern, they are not as permanent. if any one of them find some one physical and develop intrest, long distance relation wil be history Take care

it really do.......like ur frind ,i also knw a man who love a girl living far away frm him....... they r committed 4 7 years now , n nevr thy meet once in this time.... thy talk to each othr on phne 4 long hours,discuss their problems, ......evn afr so long i find same warm n love in their relation......he s always excited whn he talk abt her..............long distance relations do realy work....
