Well I have it set to $10 but after I get paid for the second time now I am going to put it up to $25 I think. I want to have that $10 to send it to my bank account for something. But after this time I'll just wait. I have no hurry now that I know that this site pays.

I set mine at $50.00 the first day, I wasn't earning the first month because I wasn't into like some are, but now I've gotten some great responses so $50.00 will be here in a couple of months.

Mine is just set at the minimum amount, simply because I like to have the money each month. I think that if I was specifically going to be saving for something then I would set it higher.
I may set it higher soon though as I am thinking along the lines of maybe saving for christmas, that is if I am still as active here though, I might have found something else by then instead!!

I plan to stay a while, probably put my limit even higher next time. That way I could say, "I made $100.00 dollars today."

I am planning to go for the maximum payout. I know it's too much but I just want to prove myself that I can do it no matter how long it will take.
Right now, I'm set at $10 but even with this minimum I don't successfully reach it every month.
Well, I just want to see how many months will it take to reach $100 and how much effort I need to exert.
So wish me luck!

Set a goal, achieve it, I'll let everyone know when I get my $100.00 dollar payout.

I like your idea behind your amount. I set all my amounts as low as possible though. I would like the challenge but I like to cash out asap and get the money to the bank. I have my paypal sent to my savings account which of course accrues interest. The sooner I get the money the sooner it starts getting interest. I know its not a lot but anything is better than nothing. Just my idea behind it.

Making your money work for you, I like your idea too. I write for some other sites so I set my payout high.

My payment amount is set to the minumum, which I think is $10. I'd just prefer to have the money in my account rather than myLot's!
I suppose it does stop you from spending it if you raise your minumum payment amount, so perhaps if I had more time to spend here and earnt more I might consider it.

It's not like myLot is a bank and they're holding out on me, I know the risks of on-line payments. I just set mine high because I want to work towards something.

I have mine set presently at $25. I had it set at $10 but I've past that and want to go to $25. The last time I did a payout I had to pay a bad really bad so I cashed out under $50, but this time you are right. I want to eventually set it up to $50 and then possibly cash out around the $50 to $100 range. That way I can feel like I did something good for the users on mylot and myself. So you are right, I love to challenge myself.

Mine is set at the minimum 10 bucks.
No offence but I think it is plain foolish to set at a higher amount UNLESS you incur charges when myLot pays you.
My payment mode is paypal and I incur no charges when myLot pays me. So it is "safer" to get my money e.g. 10 bucks every month than 50 bucks every 5 months.
The reason is simple. Once I receive the money, the money is mine. What happens if myLot close down during these 5 months?
So far, myLot has an impeccable track record and I have high confidence in it. But for anyone who has spent some time earning money online, you will know how possible it is for a seemingly good online opportunity to fold up.
I rather not take the chance. Don't complain if one day you get banned "accidentally" and you lose the $49.99. I rather take whatever I can remove as soon as I can.
Once again, no offence and I am just commenting in general terms. I am not insulting anyone and please, no one gets mad at me.

Hi, thanks for taking it the right way.
Just 2 things I like to point out.
1. You can be the "best" user on myLot but that still exists a possibility that you will get banned. I have come across enough "exemplary users" who cannot possibly get banned... yet they were banned nevertheless.
2. As for the money not gonna break your bank, sure, of course, 50 bucks may not be a lot of money but it is still your effort over several months. If you tell me your time, effort and energy over several months is negligible, well, ok, I rest my case. Cheers.

No problem, you made a few good points. If myLot closed down today It wouldn't break my bank so that's why I set it so high, I'm a lofty achiever. I use paypal so that criteria has been checked off, I'm not one to rock the boat so getting banned would be like me winning the lottery of unluck.

Mine is set at ten dollars, as I'm not active enough to make heaps of cash. I think the other thing is that when I am here, it's more about interaction with others on mylot, rather than the money. I've always thought it nice to have discussions, and if I earn a few bucks on the side, even better.

I feel the same way, that's why I set it so high, I don't want to worry about each month. I just post and reply, its nice to get paid but I don't live for it. I'd rather have good conversation and get some ideas from people.

I have mine set at $10 knowing that I will go over it. I like the insurance of the easy payout and would rather get the money now than have to wait for it as it is a bit tight these days.

I originally had mine set at $10 because I just started and didn't really know how much I would be making. I think I may change it to $25 or $50 to give me something to work towards. Since I would like to cash out every month, and don't have any referrals yet, I think i will stick with $25 until I get some, then I will up it again.

I have it set at the full 100.00. when i get a pay out i want it to be of a substantial amount. not that im actually going to withdraw at that amount if i can help it...but i want it to be a goodly amount.

Wow! Now that's holding out for a lump sum. I set mine at $50.00 because I knew I would be here until the site dissolved. Top of the mountain for you. Let us all know when you get there.

will do...i already have 1.52 as of last update and i have 5 referrals. Plus i find lots to respond to every day. so im thinking that i will reach it fairly quickly. i spend hours on end on this site alone. its almost become an obsession.

I used to have mine set to the lowest figure for payout but lately I've changed that to the higher figure. It means that I have more to look forward to when I reach that figure and regard it as a potential savings scheme as I know that sooner or later I will reach the payout and receive a good amount of money

My payment level is set at $10 because I want to get paid monthly and $10 is a reasonable goal for the amount of time I have to dedicate to MyLot.

I set my payment as low as possible. I like to payout as soon as possible. The quicker I get paid, the quicker I can get that money into my high-interest savings account, meaning that money soon starts to reap me the benefits of compounding interest.

My payout amount is set to the lowest here. I would like to see that extra ten dollars in my bank account each month to be honest. But I am going to use my first payout to purchase an item I saw a couple weeks ago. I think that is neat I can earn some extra cash to get ...well extra stuff!
Is your $50 dollar payout for one month or is it supposed to be over a period of months?

I think its set for the month, but because I don't meet it each time it carries over. I knew I wouldn't get $50.00 the first month but I saw it as a goal.
