Ah I smell my cake baking.

I had to go get groceries today.And I'm pretty good at getting alot for my money.I found cake mix and frosting for about 2.00 It has been awhile since I baked a cake and my husband lit up when he saw me mixing it up to put in the oven.And it smells so good in here.Soon I will ice it when it's cool enough.

That sounds so good Marchgale I think I can smell it from here mmmm lol.
I love makeing things like that. The last thing I made was brownies on Saturday morning when I got home from work. I love the smell as it travels through the apartment. I wish it could be like that alot of the time. What kind of cake did you make & what kind of frosting did ya use? I hope your better half enjoyed it as much as you did take care.

It was yellow cake with chocolate frosting,off brand of course,but very good.Oh yea he loved it.I like the smell of baking things almost as much as eating them.Did you know that a trick realtors use is to bake cookies or something right before showing a house.
