I am so mad I could wring someones neck if I just knew who they were. I read an article in a magazine that was the same as the one I posted on my diabetic blog before Google deleted them. Do they have the right to do this? Do they have the right to sell my articles to other people? Do these people have the right to take an article an use it as their own? The people at Google seem to think so. I know I should have put a copy right notice on my blog but I never thought anyone would stoop this low. I sure have learned a lot from blogging. Mostly "People can't be trusted". I am going to write this magazine and see if I can get something done about it. I did interviews with Physicians who specialize in Diabetes to get this information and now someone else is getting the rewards from it. Can't anyone be trusted these days? Or am I living in a fantasy world?

That's the real main problem with posting anything anywhere whether it's a photo or article. People seem to think they can "lift" someone's work and call it their own. In most cases when I post photos I use the ones that I place a copyright watermark notice on them. As for articles or stories, yes it would be wise to also place a copyright notice. What I've even done has place a copyright notice on my photo websites warning that my photos are copyrighted and may not be used without my permission...I wonder...can one place a copyright notice on ones blogs as well???? since you did read that article in a magazine that was yours, can you alert the magazine that the article is indeed yours...do you still have a copy of it and when you wrote it (the date)?? And who knows..maybe you could sue them
