Dianne Feinstein and her mis-guided group are trying to sneak in an amnesty clause for illegal immigrants into the new war bill for Iraq. They think that if they put it into a bill that is almost certain to pass without too many people finding out about it, they will get away with this. So, the question is, are we willing to give up more jobs needed by U.S. citizens who require companies to pay minimum wage to people who have stolen their way into this country and could care less about this country? Keep in mind that Dianne Feinstein and her group have nice homes and nice cars and security and aren't on the brink of being homeless because of losing their jobs. But there are many people out there who will be impacted if amnesty is granted to illegals. When is this going to stop? When do our citizens come first with our politicians instead of our politicians wasting money trying to help people who can't even vote? If we legalize the immigrants here right now who've come here illegally, when and where does it stop? Legalizing the illegal immigrants sends a message that the U.S. is a bunch of saps and can be taken for anything. We'll even give up our jobs and homes and let our children starve to let people take advantage of us. Basically, we're being fools! Only a fool lets someone walk all over them like this. Are we going to continue to be fools? It's up to you...

Hello Whimsystoryteller, Diane Feinstein has been in my cross-hairs for a very long time, though most especially since her criminal redirection of Veterans Services Affairs funding to her husbands business interests, to the tune of millions personally. She should have long ago been tried, and permanently removed from the Halls of Congress. Though, so should a number of others, including Rep. Wm. Jefferson who got caught with 90k of bribery monies in his freezer! Though, Congress has created for themselves protections from such criminal prosecution. So, to be sure, this is not the first time that Senator Feinstein has made a fool of the American People. Before I depart from this particular point, I would like to add that 'We The People' won't be free of politicians who make fools of us until we demand criminal accountability for our elected representation! As for this new effort to tie illegal amnesty to the war funding bill, I would urge us all to hammer the phones, faxes, and internet connections of the Senate tomorrow, and every day until the two initiatives are rightfully separated. 'We The People' have spoken, in no uncertain terms, about our intollerance for another amnesty for illegals! Though, just for good measure, when we get off the phones with the Senate, we ought to hammer our House Representatives, and the White House on the same issue. This nonsense will not stop until 'We The People' rightfully take back the power that was assigned to us by the Founding Fathers. The time for apathy is long gone!!! From this link, any U.S. citizen can access the contact information for most of the main departments in D.C. http://www.gpoaccess.gov/cdirectory/browse-cd-aug04.html So, let's not wait for someone else to speak for us -- let's pick up our phones and let our elected know that we're tired of being made out as the fool!
