Has anyone else had the misfortune of being diagnozed with Meniers disease? If so what did you get told. It's an awful thing and I hope it goes away one day.

I've never been diagnosed with Menier's Disease, though I have off and on suffered with extreme vertigo. Once I had a horrible infection and was put on crazy strong Mexican antibiotics - I was falling down all the time from the room flippin dizziness. It is unclear if the antibiotics caused the vertigo or the infection - which was near my sinus which is near the brain. I think it was the antibiotics. I was worried that it would have been a lasting consequence. I stopped the antibiotics after a few days of the vertigo but had the vertigo for around 8 mos. the other bouts of vertigo that I had came by way of pancreatitis.

My husband has meniers disease and it never goes away..he has a awful time with it.They only give him fluid pills to remove any fluid ,and they give him valium for the dizziness...When you have sinus, head colds or alergy it really acts up..there is no cure for it,all they can do is treat it...It is a very unpleasant disease to have....he suffers with his all the time...Sometimes when his ears really get bad he nearly falls over...

Well I did take a nasty fall and hurt myself badly by dislocating my elbow and now they're wondering if it has anything to do with this. I see an ear specialist on the 29th so we'll see what happens then.

Hi Doll I haven't been diagnosed with it but my doc say I most likely suffer from it but due to other medical problems it is hard to isolate it There is no cure so it doesn't matter that I do ar do not have it... I do have bouts when I have to lay very quiet or I will throw up and fall over and unexpectedly it will go away then come back another time. The tinnitis is the worst part though... xoxoxoxoxoxo
