In my opinion toothpaste is outragiously priced...especially when the price of food and gas just keeps rising and rising, so i decided to make my own.
I found very easy instructions online and thought I would share them with my fellow mylotters- as I'm sure, we can all benefit from saving a few bucks here and there.

wow. sounds like a great idea. However, I would have to buy all the ingredients just to make it. I'd rather just buy the toothpaste. LOL It's easier for me. Too much work for me.

I always have hydrogen peroxide and baking soda on hand in my home. I would also leave the glycern out- as it is just for taste- that would also cut the cost ;)

Thank you for this information. It is a great idea. But I do not have the peppermint oil here or the glycerine, so instead of going out to buy that, I will just buy my toothpaste at the dollar store for a dollar.I klive alone, so it lasts me forever.
