My new best friend

Well for those of you who don't already know about the lady I take care of at night.She's 85, has alzimers, and she is precious.We watch old movies,I do her nails,and we spoil her fat old lazy cat rotten. Anyway the other night she told me I was her best friend.And you know what I'm gettin real attached to her already.I can't wait to go see her tonight.Soon as I get this posted I'm putting on my pj's and going over there. I baked a cake today and of course I'm taking her a piece.She loves sweeties as much as I do. Sweet dreams yall.

Older people can be wonderful company, I used to volunteer at a Nursing Home and I know how you can get attatched to them, you sound like a beautiful person, I call people like you earth angels...

yes you are, do you know how happy you would be making this lovely lady, a lot of the elderly just get forgotten these days..you are an earth angel.

marchgale thats so sweet of you and as a former nurses aid who used to special older people I have much sympathy for you. you do get attached to some of the older ladies and as you said they can be really precious. It sounds like you love what you do and it does show. More power to you. wish more folks were like you.
