How long do you wait before you pick the best responce?

Do you wait a couple of weeks or do you just wait a day before you chose? I have such a hard time trying to choose someone with everyone have such good points of view.

I have heard many responses to this question. I then decided upon my own. I wait until the discussion has gone a week with no new responses.

I try to give enough time for people to respond to my discussion. I will give it a week most times. But after a day or two if I see that no more responses are being posted than I will go ahead and rate the responses that are there. The more responses the harder it is for me to pick the best response because as you have mentioned everyone has such good points of views.
