1993 dodge grand caravan 3.3 automatic trans/ will not automaticaly shift.

one day my van would not start just after driving it.its not the starter,relay,battery or ignition switch so i towed it to a shop,they fixed the problem but it wouldnt stay idle.i drove it home and parked it and kept my foot on the gas for a while and dont have problem with idle any more but the speedo doesnt work now and it doesnt shift out of 1st gear. would the T P S cause the shifting problems?
