How would you spend your time if you were never required to study or work? Just imagine your life with all the luxuries and time to spend as you wanted to. What are the things that you would do? Would life be boring after sometime without any commitments? Share your thoughts and ideas on this.

See empty mind is devils place. It seems that it is nice that we have not to work or think but our mind can't remain idle.So if you don't work it will get interested in things which you ought not to do.I myself if ihad everything i would definitely think to help others. Now it seems to be difficult but i think i would haave done that. Also without study or education one can't grow.If u r not educated your all wealth will be gone .

Life without any goals would be meaningles and if we do not have any responsibilities to complete or any target to achieve, life would be boring and monotonous without any commitment in mind. One cannot enjoy the luxuries all the time, after some time, the we would start missing the some real and hard things of life. You see if there is a negative side then only you can enjoy the positive side of life. If everything is positive, it will not make us happy after a certain period. An excellent post!

It depends what sort of a person you are... If you are a creative intelligent person... you would keep coming up with new projects... and you would probably work harder than if you had a job. The difference is that you would be working for your personal enjoyment. And that sort of work is so satisfying that it does not feel like work. And don't go and believe that people with money have no commitments. They have to budget their money to make it last. And to make it last... they have to invest it. There is always an element of risk in that... as you can lose your money if things go wrong. They have to pay taxes on the money they gain from their investments. They have some hefty insurance bills to protect all their luxury goods. They spend a fortune on security to protect their luxury home. Nothing is what it seem. Having lots of money does not relieve you of your troubles. It just create bigger problems. When you have no money... you are simply poor. When you have lots of money... everybody wants to steal it... including the tax man.

I would volunteer in my community. I'm currently laid off, and while I am taking care of our farm AND looking for a job, I am doing some volunteer work. If I didn't need to have a salary, I would volunteer my time FULL time to several causes that are important to me!

Being disabled I do have plenty of time on my hands. And guess what? I still don't have time to get everything done sometimes..lol. I volunteer as a coach for my daughter's soccer team. I try to help out friends who need it. I spend a lot of time with my daughter. I have dogs and sugar gliders who need attention. I have housework and cooking and other chores we all do. I do work online to to make extra money. I could easily survive without doing it, but I would be bored out of my gourd. I have been working on a book because I have always been into writing and I do find myself with free time occasionally. I have also been reading all the classical literature I never had time for before. If I was set with money I would travel the world, but little else would change. My world would still revolve around my daughter, family and friends. I would still fill my time doing this and that. I would just be better dressed while doing it. ;)

If I have money without having to work, then I would travel around the world and check things out, learn things and culture by myself. I think that would be a good way to learn around the world and improve myself.
