When was the last time you were with someone who had smelly socks? I had to spend about 30 minutes with a guy from the bank today at home and he had smelly socks. I didnt have the heart to tell the guy but just endured it. Now I've left the windows open in the house and sprayed some room freshener! What do you do when you notice someone with smelly socks?

hahaha this is a very intersting one lol..i dont remember the last time but there has been many momnets like that n yes i have a very good nose for any faint smells hahah say sharp detector for smell so for me such smells are hard to go un noticed.
It is hard to tell the person on the face that his socks stinks but when its unbearable i just put a hanky on my nose n make a slight off sound n make sure that person notices..

I tell my husband to take them off and throw them in the basement for the dirty laundry!

Whoa! This is a tricky one!
This problem used to be a lot more common than it is now, I believe most people have become aware of the need for personal hygiene.
However I was away at a conference last week for a few days and there was a guy on one of the exhibition stands who seemed to wear the same clothes for all 4 days.
It was hot weather and by the end of the last day I could really detect this odour from 10 feet away!
I wondered if I was imagining it till somebody else mentioned it too.

Once when I was out at the mall with a friend another friend of mine spotted me and invited us for a coffee with him and his girlfriend. We thought that was great until we noticed that his feet were really smelly. Ok he'd been at work all day and had to wear those special steel enforced safety shoes and apparantly changed into sandals to go to the mall. It was a nice summery day and we sat outside. Even with a nice breeze it still stunk so bad that my friend remarked that she thought my friend was nice but his feet were terrible!
First of all I didn't want to comment on it because he was with a new friend. But if I did I would do it at a time when we were alone so he wouldn't feel too bad about it. After all what are friends for if not to tell you once in a while about something you missed yourself?
