When i argue with my boyfriend for a certain topic, sometimes if i have nothing to say i would rather keep my mouth shut and be in silence. It does'nt mean i'm wrong and i agree with him right?

Hi dear
generally its assume that if u dont reply and get silent then u r agreeing or saying Yes. And when u do it when u r in discussion, it means that u r compromising on it and dont want to excel it
So i would say , silence never mean agreeing or YES, but its compromise u r doing keep in mind the situation.
Take care

I dont really think silence means yes.Silence is just absense of words or absense of expression through words at that moment...And some people perceive it their own way and take it to their advantage.
Well...you can rather say "yes" or "no" to your boy friend ,than confusing him with your silence...lol.
All the best.

No. I usually shut up when I know arguing is getting nowhere and we are just going round in circles and I think that is pointless to continue.

As long as the argument will goes into nothing,I stop and keep being silent. But does not mean I saying YES.It can be YES in case to case basis, but for me I would say simply YES or NO but if I'm not satisfied with the arguments and knows that arguing more and more goes the story beyond to what I wanted, then I stopped.Thanks.
