What's the worst gift you ever got for your anniversery? What's the best?

My spouse is not a big gift giver. At least not anymore. He used to bring me trinkets and flowers almost daily. I think he was being romantic or maybe felt guilty for having to work so much. Nowadays, he does not do that. We don't really have lots of extra money to throw at gifts, but it would be nice if he'd buy something special for me on occasion. I can't think of any really bad gifts that he's bought. He's mostly a card man, now. He has purchased clothes for me. And, that was a disaster. Never let a man buy clothes for you. He got the wrong size (too big) and all the wrong colors (chartreuse). Yikes! I like just any old thing. Just wish he'd buy something! Does your spouse or boyfriend buy gifts for you on anniverseries or for no special occasion? What's the best and worst thing he's ever bought for you?
