Speaking Of Being Lazy!

Coffee Stirrer? - So I used a gravy ladle.

I started a discussion about my dad recently. In it I mentioned I've been lazy in giving him haircuts and shaves lately. Well now this is really lazy I think. I made a cup of coffee after he was done with the shave and haircut. After adding the cream I couldn't find a sppon at all in the silverware drawer. None were sitting on the counter from previous use. I did not want to wash one at all. So I grabbed the gravy ladle. Now is this lazy or what? What is a form of laziness you wish to share with all here in this discussion? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

my form of laziness is using a knife if I cannot find a spoon to stir my coffee. I could have washed a spoon but lol was too darned lazy. so grabbed a knife and stirred away like crazy.I hate myself when I dont get the dishes washed up specially now I am in real pain with the shingles.lol

LOL... hey, the gravy ladle needs to get more use than just for special occassions anyway, right?! I have had more of a productive day today for the most part. I am pretty sure that I will tidy up the boys' bedroom the lazy way though. I want it done in roughly an hour and I'm still sitting here waiting for my cinnamon rolls to finish baking.

Last night I was hungry and didn't feel like fixing anything to eat, so I got in my car and went to the local dairy queen a few blocks away and bought me a chicken wrap to eat! LOL

LOL! On the surface, that does look lazy. And, if I didn't know how hard you work on your garden and yard and other things and people you take good care of, I would have to tease you for it! But, given you are always busy doing something, I can't call you lazy! Far from it! As for me...I try to keep everything at arms length for me to reach without having to get up from my desk at work! I put things on the shelf just above my head and keep things spread out on my desk just so I won't have to get up and go grab it! LOL! Yup! Now that is laziness at its finest! LOL!

Since I am the only dishwasher we have, I will often stir my tea or coffee with the handle end of a knife sitting there someone used to butter their bread or toast! Yes, I am notoriously lazy when it comes to chores!

*tisk tisk tisk* Too lazy to wash a spoon, but not to lazy to go get your camera, take a picture of your laziness, and post it here on myLot. Today actually a few minutes ago, I was too lazy to put on my shoes, so I drove down the driveway to the mailbox.

I have driver with my slippers on to get my wife from work in the winter before as I was lazy. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Now that is really lazy, but you know you probably would have found it a lot easier to use a knife handle, blunt knives of course!! That is what I use when I cannot find a spoon, or a fork handle. Fifteen years ago I hardly had anything like that at all, I took the inside of a biro out of a pen and used to use the plastic cover as a stirrer.

lol. I have done something similar before. I have grabbed a butter knife to stir with when I could not find a clean spoon. I don't know if it was being lazy or because I just wanted my drink at that moment and didn't want to wait the couple of minutes it would take to find and wash a spoon. Maybe a bit of laziness and a bit of impatience. :)

The thing that is funny here is that the ladle barely fit in the cup and their were knifes in the drawer. But I choose the huge ladle instead. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

To me, that's not laziness. I think my dad is lazy. My mom always complain about that. Basically my dad does nothing except going to work. When he's back home, he just enjoys his tea and read the newspapers. He don't even bother to wash a fruit. Either my mom or I do that for him. You know people can't just not eat fruits. That's laziness in my opinion.

Speaking of being lazy, it is rather complicated to jump a conclusion that a person is lazy or not. you seemed lazy in this matter, but hard-working in another matter. I suppose it all depends on whether you like it or not. as for me, I dislike doing chores, I never wash dishes after meals straight away. but I work very hard in something that I like.
