I have posted an article about Chocolate on my Blog of recipes for diabetics. I asked my Doctor about this and he says it is OKAY for diabetics to eat this chocolate, just don't eat a lot at one time. So I tried it and it sure did taste good after giving up on ever getting to eat chocolate again. I am learning more about this disease every day. He also told me about eating fresh Bing Cherries. They help reduce blood sugar just like dark grapes can. So now I have added more snacks to my blog at http://www.squidoo.com/low_carb_recipes I sure hope this blog has helped you with your battle of high blood sugar. If it has please let me know.

Wow that is awesome as a diabetic I am also one of those that stopped all of a sudden eating those yummy chocolates. I love chocolates too and ever since I was diagnosed I never had the chance eating one again for sometime. After reading this I guess I could start in small amounts just to satisfy my cravings. Although I think we should always be aware that we cannot do more in case we tend to crave for some more.

Oh my the typos in that post. Must have been thinking about those cheesecakes and not on my typing.

Dark chocolates are one of my favorite type of chocolate. The bitter sweet taste is what makes them so yummy :D.

I guess, one should be aware of the serving size and the amount of caloric intake it implies. And one also has to be aware of the physical activities he/she is doing. They say that it's ok to eat as long as you get to burn them within the 24 hour limit. :)
