To start I am a very active parent in my kids school. So active that people acutally think I'm on payroll, LOL. Anywho, today was adwards day at the school and I overheard a conversation of 2 parents who were just complaining about everything. From school uniforms (why they have to wear them) to school supplies (why can't teacher be responsible for the kids supplies.) Why is it that everytime I notice a complaint about something that is disliked about the school it's always from a inactive parent. I'm not saying that you have to be at the school from 8-5 Mom-Fri. But, you have to be somewhat of a active parent (I feel) in order to have the right to complain. I do understand that some parents work and may not be able to make "all" school functions. But at least show up sometimes. Don't show up at the end of school complaining about what you don't like. When you have a concern show up then. When there is a PTA meeting (geared toward parents concerns) show up an voice them. Don't be behind the scene making negative comments about a good school. Ughhhh, that really urked me today. So, I politely removed myself from around that and enjoyed the remainder of the program.

It is much easier to complain about something than to do something about it. This happens everywhere. It drives me crazy too. Last year my daughter played football and the practices were nothing more than two hours a day of people complaining about every little part of the program. I complained a few times, but I decided if she was playing again this year I would volunteer as a coach and run for the board. When people heard me say I wanted to coach t address the problems they stopped complaining to me. I think they figured I would tell them to get more involved. I know it did not stop the complaining, but I didn't have to hear after that and the practices became much more enjoyable. My suggestion would be to look at them and say "that is a great point, you should bring it up at the next meeting on such and such a day at such and such a time. It won't end the complaining, but they will stop complaining when you are near...lol.

I thought about saying something to them. But, I just decided to move. Because it's only 2 days left of school and I was focused on my kids. usually, I say something but sometimes I find it a never ended battle. Just as you said It won't end the complaining.
