Do you have any? I do! My very favorite ones are Ritchie Haven's line in his song "Freedom" - "sometimes I'm almost gone".. And Joni Mitchell's line in "Coyote" - "locals were kickin' and dancing on the floor" - My favorites! Can you think of any of your favorite song lines?

This is possibly one of the most difficult questions in the history of the world...."Yeah, you and me, we can ride on a star. If you stay with me, girl, we can rule the world. You and me, we can light up the sky. If you stay by my side, we can rule the world." Rule the World - Take That"Your eyes have got to do some rainin' if you're ever gonna grow." Bowl of Oranges - Bright Eyes"There are no flowers, no, not this time. There'll be no angels gracing the lines, just these stark words I find. I'd show a smile but I'm too weak. I'd share with you, could I only speak, just how much this hurts me." This Time Imperfect - AFI"All those times when no one ever came to get me, all the nights when I was scared, and when it got too weird, it was the song that saved me." The Songs that Saved My Life - Kill Hannah And this one is too hard to pick and choose: "I will walk down to the end with you, if you will come all the way down with me. From the entrance to the exit is farther than it looks from where we stand. I want to say I'm sorry for stuff I haven't done yet; things will shortly get completely out of hand. I can feel it in the rotten air tonight, in the tips of my fingers, in the skin on my face. In the weak last gasps of the evening's dying light; in the way those eyes I've always loved illuminate this place like a trash can fire in a prison cell, like the search lights in the parking lots of Hell." Old College Try - The Mountain Goats

Mine is from a local artist ( here in our country ) entitled "Poor Man's Grave".. its chorus states ' Oh, honey when I die, dress me up in a coat and tie. Give my feet a pair of shoes that I haven't worn in a long time. Put me in a golden box, not a cross on a pile of rocks.. Bury me where the grass is green and the gates are shining.." Happy mylotting pal .:)

my favorites are two songs, "nothing's gonna change my love for you" and "I just called to say love you". hey are now oldies but very very close to my heart. I can hear these two over and over but never get tired of them. Its the feeling in the words that is so attractive about these songs.

Oh I love that song too "I Just Called To Say I Love You". I also simply adore Louis Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World"...

I go through phases with this topic, flowerchilde. I think it has to do with what I am experiencing in life at the time. Right now I have a favorite and I started a discussion about it recently: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1705046.aspx Taste every moment and live it out loud. From Time of My Life, by David Cook I think that line is a beautiful way of saying live in the moment and experience life to its fullest.
