What do you like to do on rainy days?

Everyone knows what they like to do on a sunny day. But, do you know what you'd prefer to be doing on a rainy day? For me, rainy days are really bad. Today was so rainy. Nothing worked out. It was all glum. Today, my little kid is perpetually grumpy. My spouse is moody and argumentative, just like the little kid. And, I can't concentrate. Days like this I try to do housework, like mopping the floor. It's the only thing that works out.
But, not really, though. Ten minutes after acheiving a pristine looking kitchen floor, my spouse spilled grits everywhere and then refused to sweep them up. Oh, well! Maybe tomorrow will be better. Right now, I'm going to go watch a free movie online. Or, one of my favorite tv shows. Nothing else seems to be working out. What do you like to do on rainy days? Do you stay indoors and mope? Do you watch movies?

during the raining i like to ride on my bike. i like it very much. some time i like to watch television with my friends. some time all my friends plan to go to theater for movie.

I just love rain ..throughout the year i just wait for rainy season ....when it rains ur house becomes so cozy...if its rainin on weekends i like to sit back and listen to the sound of the rains....the otherdays ...i luv walkin to work..gettin wet ....playin with kids on the street ..rainy season do brings the child out of me.....

I just find a lot of other things to do. Clean or read and watch TV is usually at the top of the list. Sometimes I spend more time online than I should but usually I am here trying to earn money so I think it's pretty OK in my book. Other times I just don't want to do much of anything at all which is OK too as long as I manage to get some things done.

Well if I dont have work that day I like to sleep till late since rainy days just make me tired for some reason. And when I wake up I like to watch movies play videogames and just post on forums its a good excuse just to stay inside all day long and do nothing if your not a parent lol.

I have kids in my house so when it rains not only am I trapped in the house but they are too! Some of my favorite things to do it play board games or watch tv. Have you ever just sat in your garage or on you porch and just listen to the rain come down? It has to be one of the most wonderful sounds ever created! I would love to get one of those 'nature sound' recordings.
Pristine kitchen...I hear you there! I have teens here who seems to have no sense of wiping feet or even replacing toilet paper rolls!

I love the sound of rain. My windows were closed this morning, so I couldn't hear it well. But, I used to love to sit outside and listen to the rain. We lived in the country and the sound was heavenly and peaceful, like a world of it's own.

I always think of myself to be an outdoors person, i like to do nearly everything outdoors, i see it as there is a lot more activity that goes on in the outside world, so i find it fairly hard to find something to do when it rains. I useually just go on my computer, watch the television like one of my favourite films or listen to music in my flat. Most of the time when it rains i would most probably just have a lie in and just chill around the flat and hope that the weather picks up so i can go outside.

I like to curl up with a good book. Maybe take a nap. They just make me lazy so I guess it is good that I don't live in a place like Seatle where it rains all the time lol.

I usually read or watch movies on rainy days, when I don't have to work. I live on the coast so it rains here a lot. I'm used to having to just function as normal when it's pouring rain.

On the rainy day, I prefer to stay at home as I don’t want the rain wet my feet. LOL If there is no school for my daughter; I will play games and chess with her. I will make her to play piano while I sing (nice way to make her practise). I will iron cloths while she watches TV. If I am on my own at home, I will cook something special to kill the time. Meanwhile, I will go to Mylot to post and respond. LOL

Rainy days are not that bad; when it rains i just sit and watch tv until the sat goes out and that only happens when it rains really hard in my area. Sometimes a few channels my go out due to rain in other areas that the sat picks up. But on those rainy days i'm indoors and watching tv.

We don't have very many raining days in San Antonio. When it does rain, I like to fix soup and sandwiches. Collect rain water for my plants and stay out of the rain.

I like to read. But I usually end up working, so it doesn't really make a difference.
I don't think we're grumpier when it rains - although if it rained for a lot of days in a row, I guess it would get difficult.

sleep the sound of the rain is so relaxing to me unless its really bad weather then I am sitting on the edge of my sofa wait for them to say run so I can grab my kids and run to the middle bathroom for a tornado. Tornado's are so scarey. I've never been in one *knock on wood* I hope I never has to be. Hurricanes are bad enough around here.

I don't like the rainy days. It makes our mood go worse. We are unable to go out since it's so inconvenient to get wet and bring the umbrella all the time. And we have to stay at home. Enjoy cooking or playing with my child. That's what I normally do when it rains outside in weekends.

Yeah , that's an excellent idea. Just stay home and watch TV. I am not that lucky though. I still have to go to work, some times night shifts even on rainy days ! You are a lucky lady, Your Highness !

My favorite thing to do on a rainy day is to stay in bed and read a good book (or sleep some more). I could do that during the week. But not on the weekend.
If it's raining on the weekend, then I'll put some peppy music on and try to get some cleaning chore that I've put off done.
