Has anyone tried Ferox fuel tablets?

I hear it advertised on the radio and they're supposed to save a lot of gas. You put them in your tank when you fill up, they cost about $1 each. If you're not happy, they say they'll refund your money. I'm worried it could damage my engine or something, even though they say that it won't. Has anyone tried them?

the idea behind these tablets is that they clean your engine.. thus making it work more efficiently.. and this saves you in gas. logically, i wouldnt think putting aloe into yer gas tank would really make much of a difference.. and adding an extra dollar at the pump for these tablets when the price of gas is already sky-high.. would be counter productive to what yer trying to do, which is save money.

Thanks for the comment, I'm always hesitant to spend money in order to save it!

I'd never heard of these, so I've just been looking at their website. I can't work out from there exactly how it works though! It sounds very similar to me to the fuel additive in a little bottle that I've been recommended to add to my diesel every once in a while to try & clear all the gunk out. If that's the case, once your gunk is flushed way, how does it continue to provide inproved performance? I think I need to go do more reading ....!

There is a video on the site that clearly explains how the product works. Mouse over "Resources" and select "How Ferox Works". There you will find a short video with what appears to be a concise explanation of the technology. I bought some and they are doing exceptional things for my Dodge Diesel. The website that I have been reading on is www.feroxinternational.com
