Hi there Eve! No. I won't do that. I am happy with my memories and I think that there is enough reason why he wants to get rid of his wealth and also eternal life in exchange for my memories. My memories are really of value then.

Even though my memory is failing a bit I still say no. First of all my memories are priceless. No amount of money is worth what I have learned in this world or the memories that I carry with me. Secondly, who wants to live forever. I don't. I am enjoying my time while I am here but I don't want to be here for eternity.

definitely a big NO......... What is the use of wealth, when you don't remember who you are, who is your family, your parents, brothers , sisters, children......all loved ones.....it is so scary........I think the person who says yes , already has some kind of mental problem........ Have a nice day.

I could not do it. You remember the most basic things when you are young. I would then have no common sense. Its harder to remember things anyway the older you get. My grandfather even said this.

Yes would be a fine answer for me as far as I'm concerned. The things of the world, our experiences and interactions with it are all embedded in our memory. When we go then these things become part of us even in the next life. If I should lose my memory than I would have a fresh start, with all the wealth and eternal life to boot. What's not to love?

Hi, lady11eve, I'll say no as well as it's a devil's offer. What's point to have all the wealth and eternal life but without your own memory? And only Jesus can grant us eternal life.

if a stranger ask to give your memory to him in exchange of all the wealth in the world and eternal life... what will you answer?... Well in spite of the fact that there are NUMEORUS terrible memories that I have I also have some beautiful and wonderful ones that I'm just not willing to give up..Add to that the simple fact that I have no desire to live forever or to have all the wealth in the world and my answer would be a solid NO without hesitation..

I would have to say no without a doubt. Yes, the wealth and eternal life would be nice but my memories are worth more to me than anything. I have both good and bad memories but those that I do have I want to keep them with me as long as I am able.

Maybe that person, your friend, had some bad stuff happening to him/her in life so the think it's better not even to remember it. I have few things happened to me that I would really like to forget but I can't say that I would give all my memories for all the wealth in the world although it would be tempting and I wouldn't refuse very convinced but I think I would still refuse. Memories make you who you are, bad or good they might be.

its actually like a game only...after every rehearsal we stay for a while at the back of the church to relax, have a chit chat before we separate and do our lives...that day wer kinda playing...fastes answer,it never that serious until that friend of mine couragely or let me say...he bravely ask that question to one of the church leader...we still laughing and kinda teasing him...'hey hey youll be suspended'...but until we hear the answer of the preacher...hes serious and he actually dont blink nor smile...thats when we all got serious too...and im thinking "uhmm is this really that serious?"

i would never trade my memory to anything. it is something that i've worked hard for... my relationships, education, things like that. and it costs more than what the world could offer. and eternal life?? a short but fruitful life is enough for me. ;)

That's an interesting question. I think... perhaps I would say "yes", but only if there was no other 'catch'. If you can accept the question at face value, and the eternal life was genuine and not a "haha, you're going to spend your eternal life in misery!" kind of thing, then yes, I would trade it for my memories in a heartbeat, and I wouldn't even particularly want the wealth to go with it. Because if you have eternal life, then I'll have plenty of time to make new memories. However, if the catch was that I had to spend the rest of my life and never be able to remember anything else ever again, then I'd probably say "no"...

No way ... I would never trade my memory for all of the wealth in the world and eternal life. What would be the point of life and wealth without a memory of your friends, family, and experiences in life?
