A New Zealand man, who´d been ticketed 32 times in five years for not wearing his seat belt, was ironically killed in a low-impact car crash that probably wouldn´t have been fatal to a belted driver.
He was wearing a fake seat belt, designed to fool police into thinking he was wearing one, but which didn´t provide any protection.

I bet he was thinking in his last moments just how stupid he was for not wearing a real seatbelt. The seatbelt saved my life several times, one of them in which it had to be replaced because they had to cut it off me after it locked up tight.

I ALWAYS wear my seat belt. I cant stand driving in a vehicle where someone isnt wearing a seat belt it really makes me nervous. If they are a passenger in my vehicle I wont leave until they put their seat belt on. Wow in the world would he allow himself to get 32 tickets in 5 years. After the first ticket I would be so mad at my myself for having to pay money on something so foolish that I would always remember to wear it after that. I guess he paid the ultimate price for his actions.

What can you really say to this one?
