Free beauty tip to reduce puffy eyes in the morning

Here's one of my favorite free beauty tips. Boil a pot of green tea. Allow to cool and then add to ice cube trays. Freeze. And, in the morning, you'll have therapeautic ice cubes for your puffy eyes. The green tea helps reduce pore size. Many eastern cultures have used green tea in beauty preparations for centuries. This method is truly affordable. Often puffy eyes are caused by clogged sinuses. So, prop up on a pillow during the night and see if that makes a difference. Please feel free to share a beauty tip of your own.

That is a good suggestion for an affordable answer to using green tea for this problem. I can't imagine that I would be able to actually hold an ice cude directly on my eye like that. Right now, the cream I use for this works really well and I don't really mind the expense of it.

It's true! Some women have very sensitive eye areas. Mostly, you would just use it under the eye, so it wouldn't be so cold. You could chill a spoon in the fridge and use that too. It works. The green tea sort of adds an herbal element that the spoon lacks. But, creams work too!

Thank you for this post. I get puffy eyes and thought that something horrible was wrong but I also have sinusitis and my clogged sinuses are very likely the cause of the old puffy eyes! I will be trying the green tea in the near future. Thanks again.

will i put the ice cubes directly into my eyes?for how many minutes?this sounds interesting. and I believe green tea is also a good treatment for acne. for the puffiness of eyes, potatoes will actually work on eyebags, or just put the spoon inside the freezer overnight, then in the morning, put the spoon into your eyes. after 10 minutes, you'll see the difference.
