What is engraved or would you want to be engraved on your couple rings?

If you wear or would like to wear the couple's ring (friendship ring, engagement ring, wedding ring) what is engraved on it or what would you like to be engraved on it? Others almost always choose their partner's name to be engraved on their ring but for me I had this message engraved on the ring I gave to the love of my life: "I WILL NEVER LEAVE." We started as best friends eventually we fell in love with each other but we were never officially together and now we ended up as just best friends again. We still wear the rings because it's a symbol of our friendship and I guess even if I get married I will never remove it. How about you?

Well My Fiance and I may not have rings we may actually just use necklaces but either way I want to have either our song engraved and the day we met, or something to that effect.

Nice! I never actually thought of that but that's pretty sweet. Most people would consider their anniversary if they choose to have a date engraved but your idea of choosing the date of the day you met was unique. Thanks for the response. =)

Thank You. My Fiance and I both agreed that putting the day we met on the ring would be much more unique and special to us as we fell in love on that day.

My ring has nothing engraved on it but my fiance did go throught he trouble of going out of town just to find a ring I would love. He knows how I like to be different and stand out and in our town you cannot find a canary yellow diamond anywhere so he went out and did just that I thought it was something really romantic that he went through the trouble of doing it.

Thumbs up for his effort... not all men would go through the trouble of looking for the most special gift for their loved ones...

nice idea, I'd like to have our message for each other to engrave on our ring to. I also wanted to engrave our anniversary date in it, with a heart and our terms of endearment which is "baby"..

My wedding and engagement rings are not engraved, which is fine by me, though it would have been a sweet gesture if my husband had had them engraved. My couple's ring (a ring with both of our names and birthstones on it has "Always & Forever" engraved in it. He didn't have it engraved to say that...the ring just came like that!

That's sweet! Sometimes it's not what's engraved on it, how expensive it was, what design it is, that matters... it's just a bonus... but what truly matters is the love, honesty, sincerity and commitment that the ring symbolizes... Thanks for the respond! =)

I haven't really thought of it yet, but i believe such a thing should be engraved that is too cherishable..

My husband and I eloped, and we have engagement rings, but when we have our second cerimony, we are going to use my grandparents rings. Their names are engraed on the inside, so we are thinking of having our names engraved on he outside.

I like to be unique. So, I think i would get the date we started dating in roman numerals, because that's the day my life changed forever.
