Watch out for 100 Dollar bills!

The newest counterfeiting is to bleach a five dollar bill and transform it to a 100 dollar bill! If I got a 100 dollar bill, I would spend it at the grocery store rather than put it in the bank! Cause I don't want to be the one left holding the bag! What would you do if you thought you had one of these?

If I was really sure it was counterfeit I think I would have to do whatever people are supposed to do with fake money. I wouldn't want to get caught trying to spend it because the I'd be the one getting in trouble. I'd rather lose $100 than spend months or years in prison.

Well, the use of fake money on certain purchases is always considered a crime. So, another words: if you make your own money/bills, which is counterfeiting, you would be put in jail. So that would not be a good subject at all to talk about.

It's a crime whether you make it or unwittingly spend it which is why if I suspected I'd been passed counterfeit money I would turn it in instead of risking getting caught with it. Maybe I misunderstood your comment but I certainly don't make fake money so I don't see what there is to not talk about.

I will start watching. Thanks for the heads up. I will request that I do not get any of the $100's anywhere. That is alot of money to have to do without.

Well I sure I hope that I am not one of these people that get one of these counterfit $100 dollor bills. then i doubt that I will because I rarely ever have tat large of a bill on me any way.So I doubt that I will ever have to even worry about it. I would hate to go to jail over a counterfeit bill.

Well, if you have a 100-dollar bill, just keep in safe place, like your wallet. So if I have lots of hundred dollar bills I will deposit all that in my bank account. If anyone asks you for money at all: Just say "no!!!" I would use most of for school.
